Oiticica sweater kit

A kit for Oiticica sweater, designed by Paula Pereira for our Vovó yarn. This pattern is part of her book Textured Knits, edited by Laine and is NOT included in the kit.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS

Bust Circumference: 34 (37,25; 41,75; 45,25; 49,25) (53; 57,25; 61,75; 65,25) in / 86,5 (95, 106, 115, 125) (134,5; 146; 157; 166) cm 

Recommended ease 3–4” / 7.5–10 cm of positive ease.

The kit includes: 

• 6 (7, 8, 9, 10) (12, 13, 15, 16) balls of Rosa Pomar Vovó (100% wool, 156 yds / 143 m – 50 g), in the chosen color;
• 2 (2, 2, 2, 2) (2, 2, 2, 2) skeins of Rosários 4 Aurora (70% kid mohair, 30% silk, 229 yds / 210 m – 25 g), in the chosen color;
• one Vovó project bag.

Note: Aurora is a substitute yarn for the silk mohair and silk yarn recommended in the original pattern, with equivalent characteristics but a different colour from the pattern and photos.

Needles (not included): US 3 / 3.25 mm and US 4 / 3.5 mm 16” / 40 cm circular needles (and a set of DPNs if not working with Magic Loop Method); US 4 / 3.5 mm and US 5 / 3.75 mm 24” / 60 cm circular needles; US 4 / 3.5 mm and US 5 / 3.75 mm 32” / 80 cm circular needles. Or size to obtain gauge.
