Mondim socks kit

A kit for knitting the Mondim socks designed by Andrea Mowry for our yarn Mondim. This kit includes the pattern in English. Depending on the length of the socks you knit, you may be able to knit two pairs of opposite colors with this kit.

Recommended fit is 1.5”/4 cm of negative ease in circumference (when measured at the widest part of the foot).

This kit includes:

• 1 (1) skein of Rosa Pomar Mondim (100% fine Portuguese wool, 100 g, 385 m) in MC, in the chosen shade;
• 1 (1) skein of Rosa Pomar Mondim (100% fine Portuguese wool, 100 g, 385 m) in CC, in the chosen shade;
• digital copy of the pattern in English (sent by email via Ravelry);
• one Mondim project bag.

*Note: the original sample in photos 1 and 3 was knitted in Mondim 301 as the MC. As this is a discontinued shade, Retrosaria suggests Mondim C570 as a similar shade from the new color palette.

Suggested needles (not included): US 1.5 / 2.5 mm 32” / 80 cm circular needles for Magic Loop; US 1 / 2.25 mm 32” / 80 cm circular needles for Magic Loop for ribbings; or size necessary to achieve gauge.
